The Sports Writers Association of Nigeria SWAN Nasarawa State Chapter has congratulated Nasarawa United for the feat achieved in the current Campaign of the 2024/2025 Nigeria Premier Football league.
The Match day 37 of the Solid Miners against People’s Elephant,Enyimba International which ended Three-two in United’s adopted home in Gombe confirms the commitment of the players,Technical Crew, supporters,the FA and indeed the government of Nasarawa State towards the Success of the Club.
SWAN Nasarawa State Chapter Under the leadership of Comrade SMAH GEORGE salutes this heartwarming success which has taken the Solid Miners from the drop zone to the safe zone with a match to spare and appreciated the state government for the Support to both Nasarawa United and Nasarawa Amazons.
The statement equally Commend Nassrawa Amazons for starting the Super Six on a positive note and encouraged the Lafia Landladies to keep on with the spirited efforts with a view to lifting the 2024/2025 Nigeria Women Premier Football league Trophy.
The Association also threw its weight behind FC Basira for its dexterity and never-give- up mentality in the current NNL Campaign urging the Club not to get deterred rather keep lightning the world of Football.
SWAN particularly showered encomium on the Ministry of Youths and Sports Development under Honourable Kwanta Yakubu, Chairman of Nasarawa United Solomon Babanja,that of Amazons,Hajiya Husseina Suleiman Nagogo,Coaches of the two clubs,Salisu Yusuf and Christopher Danjuma as well as the State Football Association under Usman Salisu Galadima(Basira) for ensuring the name of the state rings Bell in the area of the round leather game and expressed optimism that next season will even be better.
